Stay for just the day, or make it a holiday

As well as a home for long-staying holidayers, we also offer a flexible daycare service and have many regular daycare dogs who can arrive from 7.30am and stay until 6pm, by arrangement. All our dogs, whether boarding or day care, receive exactly the same care and exercise. They get the chance to run as part of a pack off-lead either in our securely enclosed grassy paddocks or, if they have good recall, around the farm.

New clients: We are now fully booked throughout the Easter and Summer holidays so unfortunately we are unable to accept any boarding and daycare bookings for new clients at the moment. Please do get in touch with us in the Autumn to discuss any needs you may have in the future.

How much will it cost?

The charge begins on the day you bring your dog in, irrespective of the arrival time, since we need to ensure an empty kennel is available. We do offer a discount on the collection day as long as you collect between 8.30 and 9.00 am. Your dog/s will have been fully exercised and given breakfast by then.  A full day’s rate is charged if the dog/s remains in its kennel after 9.00 am and occupies the kennel for the day. Costs for more than three dogs by quotation. The cost for daycare and boarding is charged per day. For boarding holidays we operate peak and off-peak rates with our peak season running April 1st-September 30th and including all school holidays. During peak periods there is a minimum booking fee of £95.

Opening times

We have strict opening hours to avoid disturbance to our boarding dogs. These opening times allow us to develop a good routine for all our boarding dogs; the better the routine, the happier the dog! However our regular daycare customers can arrive from 7.30am and be collected until 6.15pm by arrangement. We recommend that new dogs are dropped off in the morning so they have all day to settle in before bedtime.

We are closed for arrivals and collections on Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year’s Day and Easter Sunday. On Bank Holidays we are open in the afternoon only.

Cancellation Policy

A deposit of 30% of the total charge (non-refundable) is required upon booking to secure each stay. The remaining balance is to be paid 4 weeks before your dogs arrival.

Should you need to cancel your dogs visit please contact us at your earliest convenience. Any cancellations made 24 working hours or less before the time of arrival will be charged in full.

In extreme circumstances we are flexible with these charges. If the decision to cancel your trip is taken out of your hands then your travel insurance should be able to assist you with our cancellation fees. We are happy to provide an invoice to support your claim.

Hire our secure paddocks

To enquire about hiring one of our secure paddocks please send us an email with details about your dog, when you’d like and which area you’d like to book to book: Poplar Paddock, the Wheat Field or the Woodland Walk.

We will confirm your booking or let you know alternative available time slots. The cost is £6 for 30 mins for one paddock or £7 for the Woodland Walk. We require payment in advance by online bank transfer. Our account details will be sent to you once the booking is confirmed.

By booking an appointment and using our facilities you automatically agree to our T&C’s. These are subject to change and can be found here: www.waterloocheltenham.co.uk/terms-and-conditions/

Liz and her team have created a very special place. Molly is treated like family and has the best time every time she visits. Whether we need to put her in for a day or a week, we know she’s getting just as much love as she would at home.
